Aj Thompson, COO of Tain, a Malta based gaming company, pointed out that more so than the healthy taxes paid by the online gambling industry to the Malta government, online gambling companies contribute to the domestic economy through staff spending.  In the form of taxes to the government, Malta contributes some EURO 15.6 million every year.  However, the well paid employees of various gaming operators have been estimated to spend roughly EURO million in domestic spending.  

Online casinos provide well paid and stable jobs in the economy.  According to a local paper, many of these igaming employees are single and making thousands of dollars each year.  Online casinos have many virtues.  It is ahead of the game when compared to most industries in its use of the Internet as an entertainment medium.  Its is more than likely that the online gambling industry will only continue to grow.
