New Head At BwinNew
competition among online casinos never seems to cease.
As online casinos continue to become more competitive,
established companies are being forced to find new ways
to stay ahead of the competition. Bwin, as about as
well established as online casino providers get. They
have recently seen fit to restructure the poker
business.
Bwin has recruited a new head of
their subsidiary Bwin Games AB. Peter Bertilsson is
stepping in to replace Carl Klingberg. Bertilsson is no
light wait when it comes to online casinos. He has
extensive experience and a very impressive resume.
Not only does Bertilsson bring with
him 15 years of experience in the gaming industry he has
also proven to have the management skill necessary to
turn companies around. In the five years he spent
managing Boss Media, he turned the company in to a very
successful business to business vehicle. He ended his
stint with Boss Media in 2006, since that time he has
over seen the creation and establishment of several new
companies related to online casinos.
“I am very happy to take this
opportunity, there have never been greater opportunities
within the gambling sector than right now and Bwin has a
very strong position to make these happen,” said
Bertilsson.
“We have convinced a true veteran
of the online gaming B2B business to take the challenge
leading this business unit,” said Norbert Teufelberger,
Bwin co-chief executive.
“As the market environment changes in that fast moving
industry, B2B capabilities will be key for the US and
Asia but also for riding the regulation wave in Europe.
“To carve out a distinct and strategic B2B unit is the
order of the day. It is time to evaluate, complete and
enhance the product portfolio to be prepared for the
future.”
