Accepting Online Casinos

It turns out that brick and mortar casinos may not need to have as much fear of online casinos as once assumed.  It may have been fear of the unknown that caused so many brick and mortar casino operators to get all up in arms about the possibility of the United States government regulating online casinos.

Since online casinos first popped up on the scene with any real authority the tone has changed among brick and mortar gambling operators.  Online casinos are no longer these very dangerous leeches being propped up by governments in the third world.  They are now very legitimate gambling venues that provide a whole new world of innovation that will progress the gambling industry.

I believe the only thing that changed was that brick and mortar casinos were eventually forced to realize that, like it or not, online casinos were here to stay.  It is amazing how facing a situation can force a person or industry to come to terms with it.  Once brick and mortar casinos realized online casinos were not these fly by night con schemes they started to think of ways utilizing or even surpassing what is clearly a new form of competition.

The relationship between online casinos and brick and mortar casino has gone even further to the point were some analyst believe brick and mortar casinos do not even have to do anything to beat out online casinos.  The logic is that online casinos will attract so many new players to the gambling industry alone that brick and mortar casinos will see the benefit regardless of whether they make any new innovations.
