We continue or examination of the hypocritical arguments that conservatives continue to throw up against online casinos in an effort to prevent regulation.  The problem is with most of these arguments that they can just as easily be placed on industries that are either supported by conservatives are receive absolutely no flack from them.  These industries cause the same sort of troubles if not more as online casinos are accused.

The last argument we will examine is almost laughable.  Online casinos have been considered unproductive and vain pursuits of instant wealth.  Several opponents of gambling and online casinos believe that gambling does so well during times of economic crisis that people will visit online casinos as an instant solution to their economic troubles; sort of a fools savings plan.

If online casinos are guilty of causing such poor financial planning, there is no way that it is more so guilty of that that than State lotteries.  Millions off Americans play the lottery on a regular basis hoping for life changing jackpot.  Granted a lottery ticket only cost a dollar, but so does the spin on a slot machine.  In fact, many lower denomination slot machines cost far less.  The point in both these cases is the more a gambler plays the quicker these coins and dollars add up.

Online casinos are nothing more than a form of entertainment.  Yes part of the draw is the chance to win your money back, but Americans spend billions of dollars everyday on silly entertainment that will not profit them in anyway.  Perhaps a ban should also be placed on movies, video games, and amusement parks.
